“Nature is
not a place to visit ; it is our home.”
One of the calmest and most relaxing place is a hill station not only because of it’s mountains but because the way you can be close to the nature and to
yourself.
On 21 Octber 2022, I visited one of those hill station, you must have already guessed it (from the title). Yes, Kasuali! It was our school that organized the one day trip to Kasuali and I thought it was a chance to make my bond stronger with my friends. It was fun, we went to four famous destinations. We were travelling by bus and I saw the sun rise with my friends and our teacher, we danced and sang all the way to our destination. The roads were very narrow but as we went higher, the sceneries became more and more majestic. After we reached there, we assembled at one place and started our walk to Monkey Point. It was a one tiring walk but the good part was i got to see so many wild and beautiful flowers and butterflies.
We had to climb 100 steps to reach the Monkey Point. After reaching there the sight was as beautiful as Emerald Swallowtail , the peaks were covered in mist. While we were returning our teacher took a packet of prasad but the monkeys saw and snatched it from him. Our sir also gave the packet because taking the risk to save packet was not worth having scratch mark all over his hands.We saw sunrise point and then went to Christ church
which is considered one of the oldest church of Himachal. I with my friends and we lit candles there. My friend also bought some things from there.
Our third destination was the Central Research Institute of India. It is famous because all the vaccines are first tested and approved there. Mr.Thakur sir and ma'am (whose name I couldn't remember) also explained us about how WFV (water for vaccination) was prepared and the animals
they had for testing new vaccines. On my way to Mall
Road we saw Dyan Chand Statue. Then we visited the mall road and we were allowed to buy things. There were many wood craft items. Then we went to a hotel for lunch and the food was delicious since we all were so famished. Our way back to school, I may have come empty handed but went back with a bunch of memorable memories.
